Editorial Policy

How we create, review and maintain trustworthy educational content.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Trust is the foundation of an education site. This policy explains who we are, how we create our content, and the standards every page must meet before it is published.

Our editorial mission

BodySecretsHub.one exists to explain how the human body works in clear, accurate, beginner-friendly language. Our content is designed to teach and inform — never to sell a product, promote a treatment or replace professional care.

Who creates our content

Our content is written and edited by the BodySecretsHub Editorial Team: professional science writers and biology educators with experience translating complex topics for general audiences. You can meet the team on our About page.

We are transparent about what we are: an independent educational publisher. Our writers are communicators and educators, not your personal physicians, and our articles explain science rather than provide individual medical care.

How we write and structure content

Every guide follows a consistent, reader-first structure: a plain-language overview, the anatomy (structure), the physiology (function), real-world examples, interesting facts and answers to common questions. We favour short paragraphs, clear headings, diagrams and tables so that complex ideas stay approachable.

We write for a general reader with no prior knowledge, defining terms as we go and linking to related guides so learning builds naturally.

Sourcing and evidence

Our explanations are based on well-established, mainstream science. We consult authoritative public references — including MedlinePlus, the U.S. National Institutes of Health, the World Health Organization, national health services and standard anatomy and physiology textbooks. Where scientific understanding is genuinely uncertain or evolving, we say so rather than overstating confidence.

Review and fact-checking

Before publication, each piece is reviewed for accuracy, clarity and balance. We check facts against reputable sources and remove anything misleading, sensational or unsupported. Our detailed process is described in our Fact-Checking Policy.

Editorial independence and funding

Our editorial content is independent. BodySecretsHub may be supported by advertising (including contextual ads) to keep the site free, but advertisers have no influence over what we publish or how we explain a topic. Advertising is clearly distinguishable from editorial content, and we do not publish "advertorial" health claims.

Use of technology

We may use software tools, including AI-assisted drafting and research aids, to help produce and organise content. Any such use is always overseen by our human editorial team, who are responsible for verifying accuracy, adding expertise and approving the final published version. Technology assists our editors; it does not replace their judgement.

Corrections and updates

We take accuracy seriously. If we discover an error, or a reader reports one, we correct it promptly. Guides are reviewed periodically and updated as understanding advances; significant updates are reflected in the page's "last updated" date. To report a possible error, please contact us with the page and the concern.

Scope and limitations

We cover general human anatomy, physiology and everyday biology for education. We do not publish personalised medical advice, diagnoses, treatment plans or dosing information. For those, readers should always consult a qualified professional, as explained in our Medical Disclaimer.
